Civic Leaders Breakfast 2025

Kick off back to school season with an impactful morning connecting civic leaders of all ages at the GenerationNation Civic Leaders Breakfast. Our annual fundraiser is an opportunity to engage with top Charlotte-Mecklenburg government, education, business, and nonprofit leaders plus high school student leaders who are already working to transform our schools and community for the better. 

Event speakers include Kobi Brinson, Partner at Winston & Strawn; Nate Hogan, President at the CLT Alliance Foundation; and Betsy Mack, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Executive Director of the Charlotte Hornets Foundation. GenerationNation is thrilled to be the recipient of the Hornets' $100,000 Education Grant this year.

We hope to see you on August 1!  You can help GenerationNation to increase and strengthen the pipeline of emerging civic leaders who understand how Charlotte works, play an active role in school and community decision-making, and build the knowledge, experience, and social capital for active civic leadership now and into college, career, and adult civic life.
